Whether you like them or not…
… the Kardashian’s are household names and so is their show, Keeping up with the Kardashians (also known as KUWTK) . However as of this September the show has now ended and because of this I have decided to blog about the family’s best (and sometimes worst) moments.
Kim Kardashian
Kim Kardashian works in the American criminal justice system. Kim and a team of hardworking activists and lawyers have been working hard to bring justice to prison inmates that have been wrongfully imprisoned and given unnecessarily long sentences, like the case of 64 year-old Alice Marie Johnson who was given a life sentence for a non-violent act.
Kourtney Kardashian
Kourtney teamed up with the Environmental Working Group (EWP) in order to bring about higher standards for cosmetic products. She believes that “everybody should have the right to healthy products” and feels “like it’s time for Congress to do its job.”
Kylie Jenner
Kylie is helping to fight the Australian fires by donating $1 million. But this is surrounded in controversy after showcasing her $1,480 (£1,156) Mink Fur Louis Vuitton slippers around the same time as posting about how heartbroken she felt about the animals, including Koala’s, dying in the Australian fires.

Regardless of where you stand…
… about the Kardashian’s, they have a huge following. After starting their show, Keeping up with the Kardashians, in 2007, they have gone from super rich B list celebrities to SUPER RICH, Ultra A list celebrities and entrepreneurs.
Some will say
there are people more deserving of fame and fortune, but not many people could have done what they did or have been willing to share so much of their lives with the world. Yes, they have been mixed up in their fair share of controversy and have been known to be quite insensitive, but you can’t argue with their popularity, viewer numbers and some of the positive things they have done. Ultimately, that’s what makes the media, me and millions of fans and haters, follow them. It’s something different to the endless streams of bad news, we normally get.
The success
of the show is unquestionable. The first episode was watched by over 2.7 million people. Viewership reached its peak at 4.8 million viewers and some special episodes were watched by over 10.5 million people! They’ve also won a lot of Teen choice awards, over the years. However, the show coming to an end, is not unexpected. After 20 seasons, the latest episode was watched by just 810,000 people, but it has done its job. The Kardashian’s now the fan base and a business empire covering fashion, beauty, lifestyle and fitness, to be super successful at anything they do. With their businesses still growing, it seems like we aren’t completely ready to move on from them.
For me
reality tv is, strangely, a great escape from real life. Without the show, there is a hole in my timetable, and I don’t think I will find anything that was as entertaining as it. Maybe I’ll end up going out more or doing something new, but the chances are I’ll end up finding a new show to watch.
